Rosemary Counter is a Toronto-based writer and reviewer (and sometimes-editor). Since graduating from the University of Toronto with degrees in English and Women’s Studies, and a victory lap at Ryerson University in Publishing, Rosemary’s been all freelance, all the time. Her work’s appeared in everything from Chatelaine and Maclean’s to Elle and The Globe & Mail. In between deadlines, she wrote The Decadent Housewife, a sassy lifestyle guide to idleness and luxury that’s nothing like her own life, she swears. If you’d like to know more, Rosemary will tell you anything you want to hear—for a dollar a word.
