The Art of Pitching at Ryerson’s Chang School

As of this Fall, I’ll be acting brave and conquering my fear of public speaking (possible article? That’s how I do it) at Ryerson University. For seven weeks and a bargain price, you can learn how an idea goes from crazy champagne thought to published article (with paycheque, that part’s key).

More officially, this: “A singularly focused and practical, step-by-step course moving a would-be freelance writer through the finicky and often frustrating pitch process – from bright idea to research and sources to final query – thereby delivering a quality and saleable magazine pitch into the right editor’s hands.”
