Congrats to all the winners! (Not me.) And big thanks to Canadian Business for letting me exercise my business-profile skills with a monster batch of better-managed businesses than I: An all-family-all-the-time B.C. winery; a real estate company with a conscience; a forward-thinking plastic company going eco; a network of contractors for every renovation need; and–my personal favourite–a 65-year-old yarn company that by all means and logic should be extinct (it’s going strong).
